It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Eddie "Ed" Cook who entered into rest November 9, 2021.

Mr. Cook was a native of Aiken County and a member of Spring Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. Coleman Cook; two daughters, Debra (Dave) Gause and Donna (Tyron) Cook-Carter; three sons, Dallas Cook, Tyrone Cook and Matthew Coleman; a sister, Minnie (Cleveland) White; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 19, 2021 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Thomas, Jr., officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
