Albert Byrd

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Albert Byrd who entered into rest July 16, 2026.

Mr. Byrd, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1967 graduate of W. E. Parker High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, George (Simone) Byrd;  a sister, Freda Mosley; grandson, Austin Byrd; a nephew that he considered to be his brother, Gerald (Betty) Byrd; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Arrangements will be announced.
