With deep and profound sympathy we announce the transition of Mr. Albert K. Holston, Jr. who entered into rest September 10, 2024.

Mr. Holston was a graduate of Midland Valley High School and a United States Army Veteran. At an early age, he was baptized at Young Storm Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Kecia (Marley) Hyde; a sister, Deborah (Carl) Simmons; three brothers, Reginald Holston, Allan Holston and John (Holly) Holston; five grandchildren, Desmund , Damani, Kameron, Autymn and Arielle Hyde; uncles, Otis (Evonne) Holston, Edward Holston, John Carroll and Leon Clark; aunts, Lillie Lee, Barbara Conklin, Marijean Gethers, Shirley McMillan, Marilyn Turner, Carolyn Turner, Mary Ann Turner, Ann Turner, Barbara Turner, Hilda Holmes and Marie Wilkerson; a devoted friend, Michelle Lee; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Curtis Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
