Jenkins-Williams
August 2, 1940 – February 8, 2025
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Allean Mobley Jenkins-Williams who entered into rest February 8, 2025.
Ms. Jenkins-Williams was a 1960 graduate of Edgefield County Colored School (W. E. Parker High School). She was baptized at an early age at Young Macedonia Baptist Church. After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC, where she was a successful entrepreneur owning and operating several businesses. Later she returned to South Carolina where she became a Health Caregiver.
Left to cherish her memory are: three sons, Arthur (Tammy) Jenkins, Dwayne (Cynthia) Jenkins; two daughters, Melisa Jenkins and Keisha (Vincent) Jenkins-Shedrick; sister-in-law, Annette Mobley-Burwell; sixteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, February 28, 2025 at Young Macedonia Baptist Church where the Rev. Ernest Butler is pastor and the Rev. Al Harris eulogist. The family will receive friends from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home and from 10 am until 11 am at the church Friday. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
