It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Allen Perry Talbert, Sr. who entered into rest October 15, 2022.

Mr. Talbert was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Allen P. (Maggie) Talbert, Jr., Lorraine Talbert-Burt, Betty J. (Rev. Wayne) Talbert- Fitch, Kenneth Talbert and Fredericka (Charles) Truesdell; three sisters, Katherine Lazenby, Edner Gilliam and Lizzie Lanham; sisters-in-law, Mary Talbert-Parks and Gladys Talbert; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday, October 23, 2022 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Fitch officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed.
