It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Alonzo Yeldell who entered into rest February 7, 2023.

Mr. Yeldell was a native of Edgefield County and a 1958 graduate of Edgefield County School System. He was the owner of Alonzo Yeldell Plumbing Service. He was a member of Mores AME Church.

Left to cherish his legacy, Viola McCullough, his loving children, Veronica B. McCullough (Ning) and Dykail A. McCullough (Dawn); chosen children, Freddie McCullough (Anita) and Rhonda L. McCullough Holiday (Issac); three grandchildren, ShaLishah J. McCullough (Trevor Smith), Corey R. Jones and Tunesia Holiday; three great-grandchildren, Trevon L. Smith, Starr S. Smith and Elijah J. Jones; two brothers, Otis Yeldell (Johnnie Lou) and Willie Yeldell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 25, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel, Edgefield with the Rev. Fred Armfield officiating. Interment will be in Moores AME Church Cemetery.
