It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Alvin H. Stevens, III who entered into rest April 23, 2022.

Mr. Stevens was a graduate of Midland Valley High School and a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. He was United States Marine Corps Veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Alvin (Mylene) Stevens and Austin Stevens; his mother, Ann Reid Stevens; three sisters, Alesia Stevens, Angela Stevens and Anita Stevens; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, April 29, 2022 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. G. L. Brightharp officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Interment will be in Bettis Academy Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
