It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Amber Y. Simpkins who entered into rest January 5, 2022 at University Hospital.

Miss Simpkins was a 2009 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She attended Piedmont Technical College. She was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Katherine Simpkins; three sisters, Autumn Simpkins, Ar'Brianna Simpkins and Amyiah Simpkins; a brother, Austin Simpkins; nine aunts, four uncles and a host of cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Old Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Barbara Wills officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
