It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Annabelle Johnson Turner who entered into rest on December 13, 2022 at Piedmont Hospital Augusta.

Mrs. Turner was a member of Greater Mount Canaan Baptist Church where she served as President of the Mother's Board. She was a graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 24 years in Pediatrics at University Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Rogers Turner; a son, Roger L. (Tameka) Turner; a daughter, Diadra Turner; her father, Lawrence Johnson; three sisters, Beverly (Roosevelt) Osborne, Birdena Johnson and Valerie Calloway; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church of which the Rev. Clarence D. Hill pastor and Rev. Dr. Victor R. Thomas eulogist. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Visitors will be received at the home of Ann Ware, 202 Adams Drive, North Augusta, SC.
