It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Annie Maude Powell Turner who entered into rest September 20, 2023.

Ms. Turner, a native of Jefferson County, was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church. She worked at Clearwater Finishing Plant for many years as an Inspector.

Survivors include four daughters, Rosa Marie Turner Hawkins, Debra Turner Jones, Sarah Turner Wheeler and Donna Turner Bert; two sons, Leroy (Pamela) Turner and Derrick LaTron (Tamara) Turner; godchildren, Milo Brown, Erik Barnes, Dontell Holloway, London Childs and Amanda Holloway; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating.. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
