It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Annie Mae Williams Jones who entered into rest February 25, 2024.

Mrs. Jones was a native of Aiken County and a graduate of Jefferson High School. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She worked in Food Service at University Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, John E. Jones; two sons, Ricardo (Sharon) Jones and Jermaine James; a sister, Catherine Bates; four brothers, Isaiah (Jessie) Williams, Richard (Geraldine) Williams, Joseph (Sharon) Williams and Darryl (Pamela) Williams; seven grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Raford Roundtree officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
