It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Reverend Arthur L. Gordon who entered into rest March 6, 2024.

Rev. Gordon, a native of Aiken County, was graduate of A. L. Corbett High School and a member of Youngs Chapel Baptist Church in Columbia, SC.

Survivors include his wife, Deloise Gordon of the home; one daughter, Monica Gordon Mance of Aiken, SC; three sons, Dr. Johnathan Gordon of Atlanta, GA, Leon (Dedra) Gordon of Mountville, AL, and Stuart (Felicia) Gordon of Valejo, CA; one sister, Leola Sutton of Florida; one brother, Joseph Gordon of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Bland Baptist Church where the Rev, Dr. Willie D. Abney is the pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
