With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Arthur "Art" Johnson who entered into rest April 5, 2025.

Mr. Johnson, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Lee Johnson; two daughters, Trilonia Ladressa (Willie) Keith and Deatrice Johnson; one son, Kenneth Johnson; two sisters, Blanche (George) Roper and Gloria Jean Tanks; two brothers, David (Catherine) Johnson and Elder Willie James (Damita) Johnson; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Gospel Deliverance Church, Inc. where Bishop Walter Kearse, Jr. is the pastor and the Rev. Henry Curry, Jr. eulogist. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
