With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mrs. Audrey A. Dugar Smith Mitchell who entered into rest March 7, 2025.

Mrs. Mitchell, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter Ethel Smith of Orangeburg, SC; a son, Frederick Smith (Shawna Neal) of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Charlie Mae Sharpton of Orangeburg, SC, Betty Dugar of Brooklyn, NY and Rena (Mike) McKelvin of Edgefield, SC; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Republican Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
