With profound sympathy we announce the transition of Mr. Bernard Henderson who entered into rest August 14, 2024.

Mr. Henderson, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1983 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He was a member of Jeter Baptist Church.

Survivors include a devoted wife, Felica Henderson of the home; two sisters, Rosa Johnson of Edgefield, SC and Linda Henderson of Florence, SC; one brother, Calvin (Beryl) Henderson of Edgefield, SC; two aunts, Kate Tillman and Bea Lewis both of Edgefield, SC; a sister-in-law, Valerie Brooks; a devoted nephew, Chris Henderson; several nephews, nieces, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Jeter Baptist Church with the Rev. James E. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
