It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Bertha Finley Williams who entered into rest May 3, 2024.

Ms. Williams, a native of Edgefield County, was a graduate of Martha Schofield High School. She was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Choir Ministry and Missionary Ministry. She worked for Aiken Regional Medical Center as an ICU Unit Clerk for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Elder James A. (Adelle) Finley and Charles Wayne (Juanella) Wright; three daughters, Deborah Blocker, Elaine (Gary) Jackson and Charylyne A. Parker; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Xavier Creekmur officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 pm -5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
