It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Bessie Mae Holloway English who entered into rest June 3, 2025.

Ms. English, a native of Aiken County, retired from Aiken Area Council On Aging. She was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Diane Hughes and Joyce (Vincent, Sr.)Graham; sister-in-law, Shirley Holloway; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the Holloway Family Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
