Betty Jean Butler

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Betty J. Butler who entered into rest July 1, 2026.

Mrs. Butler resided in Augusta, Georgia.

Survivors include her lifetime love, Alfonzo Butler; four daughters, Vonda Butler, Tracye Boyd, Jerrio Butler Wallace and Lynn Butler; one son, Courtney Butler; one brother, Mount Olie Fulcher, Jr.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Conway officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home..
