It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Bobby W. Tyler who entered into rest November 13, 2023.

Mr. Tyler, a native of Aiken County, was a 1972 Graduate of Aiken High School. He continued his education at the University of South Carolina Columbia where he earned his Bachelors Degree and his Masters Degree from the University of Arkansas. He taught math in the Memphis (TN) City Schools, Edgefield County Schools and Aiken County Schools. He was veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include one daughter, Dana Tyler (Tijani Iddrisu) of Memphis, TN; two sons, Bobby Michael (Tara) Tyler of Dallas, TX and Brian Alexander (Ana) Tyler of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Alma Tyler and Angela (Russell) Gleaton both of Aiken, SC; one brother, Grover Tyler, Sr. of Aiken, SC; a special niece, Erica Key of Warrenville, SC; five grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
