With deep and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mrs. Brenda Lee Brown who entered into rest March 24, 2025.

Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Talladega College in Talladega, Alabama. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an Usher.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy E. Brown; a daughter, Denise S. (Asa) Pontoo; two sons Jimmie A. Brown and Bobby A. (Alicia) Brown; step daughters, Jimel (Arcardio) Bennett and Tomekia (Charles) Davis; her mother Lena Mae Sapp; three sisters, Kathy (Richard) Hazel, Phyllis (Emanuel) Price and Vel (Frank) Dunbar; three brothers, Joseph H. Sapp, Arthur Lee (Michelle Carr) Sapp and Johnnie Sapp; 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Sanka Davis officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
