Obituary

With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mrs. Brenda K. Harris Talib who entered into rest July 31, 2025.

Mrs. Talib, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1977 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She obtained an Associates Degree from Associated Business Career College in New Jersey. She was a member of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Johnston.

Survivors include her husband, Amin Talib; sons, Hakim Talib, Khayri Talib and Malik Talib; stepson, Amin Talib, Jr.; stepdaughters, Wednesday Godley and Sabrina Pouncy (Michael Turner); brothers, Elliott Harris, Jr., Curtis (Angela) Harris, James (Tania) Harris, Steve Harris and Timothy Daryl Harris; sisters, Emma Schofield, Dorothy (Ricardo) Harris Spaulding, Mary Dell Harris and Patrice Harris (Dwhon Lowrance); a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Casey Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM
