Obituary

With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Calvin Lark, Jr. who entered into rest March 25, 2025.

Mr. Lark, a native of Aiken County, was a graduate of Jefferson High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of St. Catherine CME Church where he served as Chairman of the Steward Board, Sunday School Teacher and Choir Leader.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Washington Lark, two sons, Timothy E. (Wendy) Lark and Gerald A. (Tara) Lark; two sisters, Ethel D. Lark and Ellen Gloria Hilton; seven brothers, Herbert Larke, James (Carolyn) Hilton, Harold Hilton, Golphin (Crystal) Page, Jr., Ronald Page, James (Barbara) Page and Kenneth Page; two grandchildren, Alisha J. Lark and Gerald A. Lark, Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2025 at St. Catherine CME Church with Rev. Timothy Lark officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
