It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Carol D. Kitchings who entered into rest July 6, 2023.

Ms. Kitchings was a native of Aiken County.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Kitchings of Atlanta, GA and Lamesha (Michael) Brown of North Augusta, SC; two sons, Walter Kitchings, Jr. of Jackson, SC and Marcus (Anissa) Kitchings of Graniteville, SC; two sisters, Rosalee Evans of Albany, NY and Cedar (Dr. Rodell) Lawrence of Martinez, GA; two brothers, Edgar (Carlenia) Evans of Evans, GA and Gary Evans of Aiken, SC; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. G. L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
