It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Carrie P. Lanham who entered into rest September 6, 2023.

Mrs. Lanham, a native of West Virginia, was a member of Spring Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Lanham of the home; two daughters, Lisa (Herman) Cook of North Augusta, SC and Tamesha Nelson of Thompson, GA; two sons, Robert Gardner and Enrico Gardner both of Augusta, GA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Spring Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Delbert Nero officiating. Entombment will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
