It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Catherine Wooten who entered into rest July 29, 2022 at Piedmont Health-Augusta.

Mrs. Wooten, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Carey Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Mosley-Holmes of Hopkins, SC, Hattie Marie Mosley of California, and Marcherie Wooten of Brockton, MA; one son, Anthony (Silenda) Mosley of North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Naomi Thomas of Johnston, SC and Clara Yeldell of Augusta, GA; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Carey Hill Resource Center. Interment will follow at Carey Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
