With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Cephus "Pete" Jones, Jr. who entered into rest June 29, 2026.
Mr. Jones was born in Augusta, GA and resided in North Augusta, SC.
Survivors include three daughters, Helenlania (Alfy) Leverett, Monica (Kenneth) Jones-McDade and Adrienne (Roderick) Smith; one son, Cephus Aldell Jones; two sisters, Thomasine (Earl) Butler and Mary Ann Norris; one brother, George Lewis; six grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, July 5, 2026 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel.
