With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Charles E. Booker, Sr. who entered into rest April 27, 2025.

Mr. Booker was a native of Edgefield County.

Survivors include a son, Charles E. Booker, Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Jean Booker, Gail Booker and Martha Denise Booker; three brothers, Moultry (Bobby Jean) Booker, Heyward Booker and Timothy (Jennifer) Booker; one grandchild, Charquez Booker; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 3, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the United Church of God Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
