It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Charlie Lee Hammonds who entered into rest June 25, 2024.

Ms. Hammonds, a native of Aiken County was a graduate of Jefferson High School. She retired from the Medical College of Georgia.

Survivors include a son, Wallace D. (Lashana) Hammond; a daughter, Nancie S. Hammond; a brother, Calvin Hammond; a grandchild, Dominique L. Hammond; a great grandchild, Delaney N. Hammond; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, July 6, 2024 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary with Pastor Joshua Stallings officiating. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
