With deepest and profound sympathy we announce the transition of Mr. Charlie G. Plair who entered into rest October 15, 2025.

Mr. Plair, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Friendship Baptist Church (New York.)

Survivors include three brothers, Theodore (Sherry) Plair, Willie Lee Adams and Michael Adams all of Edgefield, SC; Emma Walker of Columbia, SC, Jean (George) Moore of Johnston, SC, Claudine Rhynes, Joan (James, Jr.)  Bowman, Jennie (Bill) Moore, Barbara (Perry) Bussey, Modena (Nathaniel) Stevens, Sharon Hammond all of Edgefield, SC and Sandra Best of Greenwood, SC; a special companion, Irene Moore of New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends all of whom will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. C. Moses Myers is the pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
