Chris Anthony Baskett

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Chris A. Baskett who entered into rest June 18, 2026.

Mr. Baskett, a native of Richmond County, was a member of Mealing Grove Baptist Church. He was employed at CVS Warehouse.

Survivors include his father, Charles Baskett, Sr.; six sisters, Denise Baskett, Timekia (Anthony) Mayes, Yvette Baskett, Hope Powell, Kaytlin Baskett and Felicia Johnson; two brothers, Charles (Crystal) Baskett, Jr. and Matthew (Cicely) Baskett, Sr.; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Mealing Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
