It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Chris Ceasar who entered into rest February 26, 2022.

Ms. Ceasar was a native of Aiken County and a 1965 graduate of Jefferson High School. She attended South Carolina State College. She was the Public Information Officer for Aiken County. She also served as past president of the North Augusta NAACP and on the Executive Board of United Way. She was a member of Carpentersville Baptist Church where she served in many capacities.

Survivors include a son, Phillip A. Ceasar; two brothers, Loniel (Patricia) Charthern and Rev. Charles R. (Charlene) Charthern; sister-in-law, Charlotte Charthern; nieces and nephews, Brian, Kim, Harry, Patrick, Mark, Ani, Tim, Terrance, and Bridgette; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 7, 2022 on the grounds of Carpentersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Bing officiating. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed. Private interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
