It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Christine J. Curry who entered into rest December 2, 2022.

Mrs. Curry, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1993 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She earned a Bachelors Degree from Phoeniz University and a Masters Degree from Strayer University in Augusta, GA. She worked in the Aiken County School District.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest E. Curry; three daughters, Shavoneeya R. Curry, Fadeijah N. Curry, and Shakira Z. Curry; her mother, Johnnie Mae Dobbs; stepfather, Rayford Mance; four sisters, Tiffany (Michael) Nicholson, Tasha Brunson, Stacey (Rod) Mims, and Keasha (Jonathan) Chamberlain; a brother, Travis (Jalayna) Burton; one grandchild, Harmony K. Philpot; stepmother, Hattie Mae Burton; father and mother-in-law, Freddie and Mary Curry; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 12, 2022 at Ascending Faith Ministries with Bishop Michael Staley officiating. Viewing will be held from 1-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
