It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Christine Stewart who entered into rest January 30, 2022.

Mrs. Stewart was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Choir and the Senior Ministry. She retired from the Augusta National Golf Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Mozelle Stewart; three sons, Lt. Col.(Ret) James L. (Philippa) Steward, Arthur Stewart and Dozell (Jo'Ann) Stewart; daughter-in-law, Delores Stewart; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Old Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Limuer Myers officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
