It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Cindy M. "Peaches" James who entered into rest July 24, 2023.

Ms. James, a native of Edgefield County, was graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and was a Behavior Therapist with the United States Navy.

Survivors include her son, Jonothan Eugene James of Orangeburg, SC; her parents, Otis Bush, Sr. and Bonnie Jean Stewart; two sisters, Bernette Bush and Pam (Edward) Chick; one brother, Otis (Tamecia) Bush, Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2023 at New Life Ministries of Aiken with Bishop Gerald Haynes officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held ONLY from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Saturday at the church.
