It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Clarence Butler, Sr. who entered into rest September 8, 2022 at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital.

Mr. Butler was a 1988 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, AnnJo Robinson Butler; five children, Thomasina Butler, Clarence (Siemone) Butler, Jr., Dayshawn Butler, Nattie Mae Butler, and Bradiesha Shellton; mother, Minnie Ruth Butler Hazel; father, Johnnie Young, Jr.,; two step children, Amanda and Ramon Rivera; sibilings, Karla Butler, Walter G. Hazel, Jr., Steven (Kelli) Hazel, Sr., Monica D. Hazel and Vernitta Moore; 9 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, September 15, 2022 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, North Augusta with the Rev. Ronnie Young, Sr., officiating.
