With heavy hearts, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Clemson Quarles, Sr. who entered into rest February 5, 2026.

Mr. Quarles, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church (Edgefield.)

Survivors include his wife, Mary Quarles; daughters, Kimberly Quarles and Kiera Quarles; son, Clemson Quarles, Jr.; sisters, Deloris Lanham, Ollie (Will) Hinton, Barbara Phillips, Robbie (James) Polly, Emmie Dobey, Pamela (Craig) Brunson, Paulette Quarles, Sheila Chamberlain and Laura E. McKelvin; brothers, Joe (Linda) Quarles, Gonzalee Quarles, Michael Quarles, Doug Quarles and Fitzgerald Quarles; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. C. Moses Myers officiating.
