It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Cora Bell Brown who entered into rest August 21, 2022 at AU Medical Center.

Ms. Brown was a native of Edgefield County.

Survivors include three sisters, Josephine Wakefield (Alvin Mathis), Lillie Mae (Johnny) Washington, and Lois Brannon; one brother, Willie (Linda) Brown; her God-daughter, Cora Wakefield (Jarius Reynolds); a host of grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 27, 2022 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
