It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Corey Alvin who entered into rest April 5, 2022.

Mr. Alvin attended Silver Bluff High School. He was a member of Greater Hope House of Deliverance.

Survivors include his children, Kinoa, Keenan and Kasia Alvin; his mother, Helen V. (DeAnglio) Curry Drayton; his father, Sean Alvin (Joni Rogers); two sisters, Seancara Curry and Iyceiss Drayton; two brothers, DeAngilo M. Drayton and DeAngilo Drayton, Jr.;; his grandparents, Jessie J. Curry, Sr. and Robertha Curry and Mary Drayton; a special friend, Erika Carter; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in Mims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Apostle Sandy Brooks officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
