With deepest and profound sympathy we announce the transition of Ms. Dana R. Jones who entered into rest October 3, 2024.

Ms. Jones was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond and Voorhees College where she earned a Bachelors Degree. She was employed by AU Health/Wellstar MCG Health as a Pre Access Specialist. She was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Gillian Sage Jones; her mother, Geraldine Cook Jones; a brother, Sharn Christopher Jones; one uncle, James (Barbara) Cook, Jr.; aunts, Betty Gonder, Mattie M. Jones, Fannie Turner, Dorothy Cook, Estella Ragland, Carrie (Arthur) Abraham and Frances (Robert) Allen; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Xavier Creekmur officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
