It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Deacon John A. Hamilton who entered into rest May 13, 2024.

Mr. Hamilton, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. He was veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include one daughter, Minister LaShaun Hamilton-Ryans; two sons, Marichal Hamilton and Roscoe Hamilton; two sisters, Willie Mae Pixley and Jessie Lee Hamilton; one brother, Joe Louis (Gladys) Hamilton; four grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2024 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammie L. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
