With deepest sympathy we announce the transition of Deacon Benjamin F. Anderson who entered into rest September 3, 2024.

Mr. Anderson, a native of Baker County, Georgia, was a graduate of East Baker High School and obtained an Associate Degree from Aiken Technical College in Electro Mechanical Engineering in 1983. He was a member of Greater Mt. Canaan Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon; He was an active member of the 10th District GMBC of Georgia, Inc. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Johnson Anderson; three sons, Benjamin D. Anderson, Rashad Anderson and Desmond (Erica) Fletcher; two daughters, El-Keya B. Paschall and Cassandra L. (Jerome) Johnson; three brothers, Samuel (Alberta) Anderson, James Anderson and Darroye (Tammy) Anderson; two sisters, Lula Mae Wilson and Mary Carter; ten grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 9, 2024 at Greater Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor R. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
