It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Deacon Willie H. Pollock who entered into rest Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Mr. Pollock was a native of Barnwell County, SC. In 1989 he retired from E. I. DuPont and was a member of Indian Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 76 years and 55 years as Sunday School Superintendent.

Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Pollock, Rudnelle Pollock Scott and Pat (Terence) Madison; three sons, Bernard Pollock, Horace (Jonnie) Pollock and Al Pollock; sister-in-law, Beatrice Berry; brother-in-law, William Garrett; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at Indian Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Anthony Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will only be held from 2:00 to 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
