With deepest sympathy we announce the transition of Deacon Albert Jackson, Jr. who entered into rest October 10, 2024.

Mr. Jackson was a native of Edgefield County. He was a member of Gospel of Deliverance, Inc., where he served as a Deacon. He was a self employed Cement Finisher.

Survivors include three sons, Albert (Georgia) Jackson, III, Apostle Melvin Jackson and Elder Alphonso (Leontyne) Jackson; five daughters, Mary Lizzie Jackson, Alberta (Bishop Fayroal) Davis, Gloria (Rev. Michael) McCoy, Creocea L. Jackson and Clelvorous O. (LaAntri) Williams; sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Gospel of Deliverance, Inc. with Bishop Walter Kearse, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
