Dea. Randolph Wade, Jr.

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Deacon Randolph Wade, Jr. who entered into rest July 27, 2026. 

Mr. Wade, a native of Aiken County, was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of New Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he served in the Deacon's Ministry.

Survivors include his daughters, Gwendolyn Haynes and Lillian Thompkins; a son, Jerome (Deneen) Wade; sisters, Essie (Raymond) Wade Wiggins and Effie Wade Gamble; a brother, Joshua D. (Bernice) Wright; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2026 at New Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the St. Phillip Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
