It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Decarlous A. Bacon who entered into rest May 30, 2023.

Mr. Bacon was a native of Edgefield County.

Survivors include his companion, Angela Drumming; a daughter, Adriana Bacon; a son, Quincy L. Hudson; his father, Olin Barnes, Jr.; a sister, Octavia (Antonio) Thomas; paternal grandfather, Willie Bacon, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Ida Barnes; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
