With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Deel Jackson who entered into rest April 14, 2025.

Mr. Jackson, a native of Richmond County, was a member of Free Indeed Holiness Church.  He was employed at CDM Southeast in Augusta, GA.

Survivors include his children, Talauraya Jackson, Zion Mathis, Za'Riyah Jackson, Za'Kiya Jackson and Zamora Jackson; his fiancee, Shanrita Mathis; his father, Lloyd (Monoco) Bell; a sister, Latoria Bell; brothers, Corey Bell and Dennis Dwayne Jackson; adoptive mother, Minister Jacqueline Smith; aunts, Flo Martin, Lucille Scott, Ann Harvey and Angela Parks; an uncle, Johnny (Wanda) Parks; his best friend, Emmanuel McDuffie; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Marcus Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in Free Indeed Holiness Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
