It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Denise N. Williams who entered into rest June 18, 2022 at UF Health Leesburg Hospital.

Ms. Williams, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1999 graduate of Strom Thurmond. She was a Corrections Officer F.C.I. Coleman, Florida and a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jada Nicole James and Jasmine Denise Williams; her father, James Searles; her mother, Surbrenda Williams; three sisters, Dora Ann Williams (Archie Brown), Lutonya Shanta Williams and Tiffany Monique Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Republican Grove Baptist Church of which the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. is the pastor and Bishop Horace Smith eulogist. Masks and Social Distancing will be required. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
