It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Donald Middleton who entered into rest October 16, 2023.

Mr. Middleton was a native of McCormick County and a graduate of Mims High School. He was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of Laura Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn Johnson Middleton; two sons, Tyranna K. Martin, Sr. and Exavier Alexander; stepdaughter, Krystal Cartledge; a brother, Clarence (Roberta) Middleton; four sisters, Annie Lou (Sam) Marshall, Isabell McCord, Lucille (Randy) Diggs and Gladys Middleton; a grandson, Tyranna K. Martin, Jr.; mother-in-law, Evelyn Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, October 21. 2023 at Laura Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. A. J. Saunders officiating.
