It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Dorothy Mae Coleman Simmons who entered into rest December 16, 2021.

Mrs. Simmons was a member of the Valley Fair Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Coleman of Aiken, SC and Rina (Dwayne) Morgan of Graniteville, SC; two sons, Jammes Coleman of Hinesville, GA and Torina Coleman of Augusta, GA; four sisters, Lether (Emmanuel) James of Aiken, SC, Fannie (Jessie) Wertz, Flora Ann Watkins both of Johnston, SC, and Valerie Melford of Augusta, GA; one brother, Hazel (Rachel) Hammond of Aiken, SC; and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Valley Fair Baptist Church with the Rev. Troy Nipper officiating. Interment will follow in the J. M. Mays Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
