It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Dorothy Collier Lanham, wife of Rev. Carsevelt Lanham, who entered into rest July 5, 2024.

Mrs. Lanham, a native of Edgefield County, attended the Edgefield County School System. She was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church where she once served on the Senior Choir, Women's Club and Taught Sunday School.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Carsevelt Lanham, Sr. of the home; two sons, Carsevelt (Johnette) Lanham and Donald (Susan) Lanham; two daughters, Delores Baker and LaShawn Blakley; a brother, Roosevelt (Thelma) Collier; two sisters, Geneva Collier and Thelma Clinton; two sisters-in-law, Leola P. Collier and Deena Collier; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis T. Coley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
